When will the new Renault models arrive?
2025
Renault 4 E-Tech Electric
As an electric version, the Renault 4 is to be launched as a new edition of the retro model. The market launch in Germany is planned for 2025, and the electric SUV will come in France in 2024. It is a crossover model with clear design borrowings from the old model. The official presentation took place on October 14 at the Paris Motor Show.
Renault 5 E-Tech
The Renault 5 was presented at the Geneva Motor Show on February 26. It has some similarities with its legendary predecessor – but many modern technologies can also be found. As an urban small electric car, it is scheduled to take off from September 2024. At the beginning of 2025, it will get a new entry-level version with a 40 kWh battery and a range of 300 km.
Renault 5 Turbo 3E
In addition to the "normal" Renault 5, Renault has also surprisingly announced a revival of the Renault 5 Turbo. With more than 500 hp of power, wheel hub motors in the rear wheels and a sporty design, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E seems to be the dream of car fans come true. When exactly it will come and what details are hidden behind the pictures and the glamorous name is still unclear. More information is to follow in 2025.
Renault Austral Facelift
Renault's compact SUV will get its facelift as early as 2025. Only introduced in 2022, the hybrid will undergo a general overhaul to adapt the exterior to other Renault models such as the Rafale.

Renault Austral Coupé
A test car that is still completely camouflaged, which is strongly reminiscent of the Austral, drove photographers in front of the camera. We currently call it Austral Coupé, because another name is not yet official. However, we assume that the naming will be different. It will probably be a while before the model comes onto the market.
Renault Megane E-Tech Facelift
The electric Renault Megane is also likely to undergo a facelift in 2025. The design needs some adjustments to connect to the more modern Renault design language, and innovations in infotainment are also to be expected. The drive could also be improved.
2026
New Renault Clio
Renault's workhorse in the compact class will get a successor in the near future. Originally, there were already considerations to phase out the Renault Clio with the current generation, but in view of the sluggish mobility turnaround, another generation of the Clio is now likely to come. The Clio was last revised in 2023, so the new generation will probably be released in 2026.
Renault Twingo E-Tech Electric
Renault has presented a retro concept of a new electric Twingo. The production model will probably be launched in 2026. It will be the first model built by the subsidiary Ampere that will cost less than 20,000 euros.
